Identifying social value in planning is a new concept for both local authorities and developers. The very essence of social value is to ensure added value is created for society and the community, so applying its principles to the planning process are both feasible and beneficial to all parties.

A developer that adopts its own social value policy and principles is seen positively by communities as producing tangible social impact results are what communities strive for from a development.

We advise on Section 106 contributions for apprenticeships, training programmes, educational engagement, community social action projects and local employability agendas. All outcomes are realistic, achievable and measurable and where possible the results will be transparent by being available to all stakeholders to view via a portal.

We undertake this work with a focus on any local plan requirements and with a mission to maximise social value outputs through creating a bespoke proposal for your planning applications.
